How we helped WelcoMe replace their legacy mobile apps with a modern web application

Mission

WheelHouse Software's mission was to develop a modern web application for their client, WelcoMe, that would empower venues to create a culture of customer service excellence and better understand and assist disabled customers. The web application was to replace WelcoMe's old legacy mobile apps that had become outdated and expensive to maintain.

Outcome

The WelcoMe web application was successfully developed and launched. It allows disabled customers to book visits at venues and provides the venues with information about the customer's arrival time and support needs. It also integrates with other popular booking platforms like Appointedd.  The WelcoMe app replaced Neatebox's old legacy mobile apps with a modern, user-friendly solution.

The WelcoMe app has had a positive impact on the customer experience at participating venues. Venues are able to better prepare for and accommodate disabled customers, leading to increased satisfaction and loyalty among this customer base. WelcoMe approached WheelHouse Software with the goal of creating a modern web application that would help venues better understand and manage disabled customers, replacing their old legacy mobile apps. WheelHouse Software worked closely with WelcoMe to develop and launch the WelcoMe app, providing software development, project management, and quality assurance testing services. The WelcoMe app has had a positive impact on the customer experience at participating venues, leading to increased satisfaction and loyalty among disabled customers. The new web application has also been well received by WelcoMe's users, who appreciate the modern design and improved functionality without installing an app.

In addition, the WelcoMe app has integrated with popular booking platforms such as Appointedd, Spektrix, Fareharbor, and Eventbrite allowing venues to easily manage bookings from multiple sources. Integrations with Messagebird and Brevo supply phone and email notifications for venue staff to keep them informed about visits in real-time.

The new content management system (CMS) has made it easier for venues to manage their accounts, and we have added support for organisations that manage multiple venues. Overall, the WelcoMe app has been a success in helping venues create a culture of customer service excellence and better serve disabled customers.
