The need
Where it started
Dr Craig Govan was setting up The OCD Treatment Clinic as a new private practice, and needed a website to establish it. It had to explain the clinic's treatment to people looking for help for themselves or their child, and make booking simple.
Who it's for: Adults looking for OCD treatment, and parents and carers looking for help for a child.
Our role
What we did
We designed and built the website for Dr Govan, the clinic's founder and Clinical Director, and Blair still works with him on it.
The build
What we built
- A design built around an animated paper-cut landscape, with a button to pause it
- Pages that explain the clinic's OCD treatment for children and adults
- Appointments booked through Calendly and enquiries taken by email, so the site needs no forms
- Page content kept in Sanity, a content management system, separate from the code
- Built in Next.js and hosted on Vercel
Results
What changed
- Over 400 bookings through the site, as of November 2026
- The website let Dr Govan establish a new practice overnight
- Within weeks, the clinic's diary was filling with patients

Accessibility and data
Looking after people
The website has no forms or analytics. Bookings go through Calendly and enquiries by email, so the site itself holds no patient data. It's built to WCAG 2.2 AA. Its animated landscape has a button to pause it, and stands still for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.

What we still do
The site has been live since 2025, and more than a year on we still maintain and develop it for the clinic.
